CAR2018 Workshop in Germany Layout #1

Hi ladies! Today I am sharing one of the layouts we made at CAR 2018 with the Pick-Me-Up collection last weekend (blog post is coming soon). I went colorful and bold this time. I chose the yellow Paper 07 for my background which has a slightly ombre design.

I cut apart Paper 13 and got many tags. I added eyelets with WRMK Crop A Dile to some of the tags to have more texture. I placed my photo in the middle and arranged the cut outs around. I love to move them on my background and find perfect place for each.

Once I was happy with the layout I embellished with Stickers and Rub-Ons. I highlighted some of the gold foiled stickers with foam tape to have more dimension on my page. I can’t make scrapbook pages without flowers, so I fussy cut few gorgeous and colorful flowers from Paper 02.

I adore the vibrant and summery result. I love that I can use Pick-Me-Up for spring and summer photos. Next time I will share with you the second layout we created at the workshop. Until then, happy crafting! Flóra

Floral Layout with Altenew Stamps

Dear Ladies! It's Flóra here today. I have a new scrapbook layout made with pretty Altenew Stamps, Dies and Embellishments. For this page I used a dichromatic gray and coral color palette. I documented my wonderful amaryllis what I got from my Mom. It has 12 beautiful coral flowers on 3 stalks.

First, I grabbed a white cardstock and stamped leaves from Floral Shadow Stamp Set with Silver Stone Crisp Dye Ink. Then, I used Hope Stamp & Die Bundle to create beautiful floral die cuts. For this layering stamp I used Tea Party Oval Set. The realistic look is simply stunning.

I created my title with Mega Greetings Stamp Set and coordinating Mega Hello Die. I used again Tea Party Oval Set to create the ombre look. I completed the title by adding sentiments from Mega Greetings and Floral Shadow Stamp Set. I thought black would be to contrasty so I rather used Pure Graphite Crisp Dye Ink from Rock Collection Oval Set.

I embellished my layout with gray and wooden elements like camera sticker from Reflection Collection Chipboard Sticker SheetEpoxy Buttons & Wood Veneer.  In the end I scattered lighter and darker gray enamel dots what I found on New Day Card Kit Enamel Dots sheet.

That was it for today! I really hope you found inspiration here what you can adopt to your future projects. Have a nice day! Flóra

Family Layout with Crate Paper Good Vibes

Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra back today. My newest scrapbook layout was created with a super colorful Good Vibes collection. This time I picked a family photo to document. I love this photo so much because nobody is missing from it.

I choose Hastag Paper for my background because it is nautral, perfect for base. I placed my photo in the middle and embellished around. This is always the best part. It’s so much fun the go through your beautiful stash and find the perfect place for the goodies.

I used many Die Cuts, Chipboard and Cardstock Stickers. I placed them mish-mash to match the happy „messy” family theme. I layered all the pieces on each other, for some embellishments I used foam dots to create dimensions. I really needed some cute houses so I fussy cut them from Perfection Paper. They represent our home.

My favorite embellishment on this layout is the die cut bird. I added a lovely a charm as a necklace. I also love the Together gold glitter Thickers what in person shines so beautifully. I completed my title with ’love’ Puffy Word. Love how characteristic is this sticker. In the end I pull out the cool Good Vibes Stamp Set and my black ink to add little phrases here and there.

The layout is very simply but brings back all the memories and shows our colorful and happy family. Good Vibes collection is perfect for many-many themes, it’s a real jolly joker. That was it for today! Thanks for stopping by! Flóra

Pinkfresh Studio Be You Layout

The first one was created with the Pinkfresh Studio Be You collection. I have used the Happy 12x12 patterned paper as background. I cut out the pretty Round Floral cut file by Inna Moreva from white cardstock and backed it with bits and pieces from Pinkfresh Studio Be You Sincere 12x12 paper.

After I backed the cut file, I placed the photo of my Mom next to the huge flower. I embellished around with Chipboard Stickers, Epoxy Buttons, Puffy Stickers, Rose Gold Alpha Stickers, a Tassel Bow, Die Cuts and Leatherette Tags. I'm just repeating myself, but I am in LOVE with the rose gold foil in this collection. Simply elegant and stunning.

Altenew April 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi Ladies! Welcome at Altenew April 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop. Special welcome if you came from Jennifer McGuire blog. YAY! How do you like to new Altenew products? I am in love with all, but my favorites are Mega GreetingsWatercolor Dots and Happy Heart Stamp Sets. I created with them a 12x12 scrapbook layout. I hope you will like it!

I decided to make an ombre layout , so first I stamped hello words with Mega Greetings Stamp Set. I used Deep Iris and Lavender Fields Inks from Shades of Purple Set. The second title was made with Coral Berry and Coral Bliss Inks from Red Cosmos and Tea Party Sets. For the last one I used Pink Pearl and Peach Perfect from Tea Party and Four Scoops Sets. The effect is just stunning. I cut out the hello titles with Mega Hello Die and Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine

I stamped on white cardstock flowers from Happy Heart Stamp Set using Jet Black Ink. I cut them out with matching Happy Heart Die Set and adhered them around the titles with foam tape.

I felt my layout is too empty, so I added dots on the edge using Watercolor Dots Stamp Set following the ombre color palette. I added phrases and a cute heart from the same stamp set and completed it with longer sentiments from Happy Heart Stamp Set.

Now, it's time for fun!

Scalloped Banner layout with Pick Me Up

Hi ladies! I am so happy to share with you my newest page because I really love it and I hope you will as well. This 12x12 scrapbook layout was made with Pink Paislee Pick-Me-Up collection and Paige's Scalloped Banner cut file.

I chose Paper 06 for my background which is one of my favorites from the entire collection. I cut out the Scalloped Banner from white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. I cut apart the awesome Paper 10 and selected pinkish, blueish, and yellowish paper pieces. I backed the first row with the warm tones, second one with blue and teal papers, and the last row with yellow and mustard colors. I machine stitched on the edges of the banner. It was a challenge to stitch the scallops, therefore the results are not perfect, but I love the color and texture it adds.

After the base was ready, I adhered the banner to the background and started to embellish. I used tiny pieces from the Chipboard Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, Puffy Stickers, Stickers, and Haberdashery Multi-Pack. I used the tone-on-tone technique to decorate the banner.

I have placed over every row a title. The "grateful" word is from the Chipboard Stickers, the "FUN!" title was made with the pretty Chipboard Thickers, and I found the "extraordinary" die cut in the Ephemera Die Cuts - I love the fancy gold frame around it!

In the end I placed my two photos and decorated with flowers and leaves. The Scalloped Banner cut file totally charmed me. It looks even better when you cut it out. You must try it! Thanks for stopping by today!

Pink Paislee Oh My Heart Floral Layout

Hi Girls! Spring is here and I just felt to pull out the floral Oh My Heart collection and make something fresh with it. This time I have chosen a white cardstock for my background. I cut out little hearts by using the Hearts Backgorund cut file by Paige Evans. I backed it with a ombre pink Paper 14.

I placed my photo on the right and embellished the left side with flowers. I fussy cut many of them from the gorgeous Paper 6. I also added gold foiled flowers from Die Cut pack and Stickers Book. I adhered them with foam tape to add dimension, it looks so much better then I would glue them directly to the background.

On the top of my photo I added the Chipboard title: Love and completed it with tiny letters from Stickers Book. In this corner I placed a gorgeous Charm Heart as well. I wrote my journaling on a Ephemera piece next to the photo.

In the end I hand stitched some of the hearts from the background. This gave more texture to my page. That was it for today! I hope I could inspire you to pull out your oldy Oh My Heart collection. Have a nice day! Flóra
