Scrapbooking, cardmaking and paper crafting

Teach me master

Magyarul a Sugallatok blogon olvashatod ezt a bejegyzést.

Almost all day long we listen some kind of music. This and that...and sometimes I find some good one what has a message for me. Something what I need in that moment, something what give me support, motivation or inspiration.
This layout "born" like this. The Bakermat - Teach me was inspiring me. I listened this song like million times, for sure. :D
This is a very simply layout, clear, pastell with few small details. I mainly used Crate Paper papers and chipboards from different collection. I just pulled together all the rose and turquoise/mint colored embellishment.
Anyway I made this selfie in the car on the way to Jezero Zbilje... :-)

Christmas card with treats

Magyarul a Sugallatok blogon olvashatod.

Tis the it was time to make a card for my scrap friend. And as she also has sharp eyes for scrapbooking I had to make something special and unique. I decided to make small pockets inside of the card for chocolates. I choose the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Tis the season collection for the project. This made it even special because in Europe it is very hard to get these products. I got them with the like for ever Wish list kit. :-)

I jazzed up the cover with a piece of embossed (with Sizzix) cardstock and pom pom ribbon. I used my Crop-A-Dile for riveting on the spine and hanged few scrapes.

Inside of the card are the little pockets decorated with Cocoa Vanilla Studio die cuts. I filled them with delicious chocolates. On the other side I used a beautiful frame which I cut with Sizzix. In the middle of the frame are little white labels with my hand-written holiday wishes.

Here is a short video of the card, so you can take a look closer.

Pink snowflakes

Utolsó simításként a kedvenc szalagos bélyegzőimmel pecsételtem.

Recently I was looking at the photos of the past Christmases. I found this one from 2010. I have already forgotten how we was having fun with my Mother and my niece in the garden and we built a snowman. This picture is so cute that I had to print out immediately. I imagined a pinky winter wonderland around the photo.
First I cut out the snowflakes with my Silhouette Cameo. I got this idea from Laura Rumble. After that I created more snowflakes with a stencil and glitter snow paste. I didn't want to decorate too much, so just used a few rose and mint embellishment. Final touch I stamp here and there with my fav roller stamps.

First kiss under the mistletoe

Yesterday we visited the Festive Winter Village in Bled. We were walking, eating, drinking... and kissing under the mistletoe. Ok it was not so spontaneous but it counts. This was our first kiss under the mistletoe. :) I have never done before as in my country we don't have this funny habit. As it happened I had to make a layout to keep this sweet memory. I put out my first Like For Ever kit - Wish List - which is full of the beautiful Australian Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Tis the Season goodies. I used some chipboard frames, Silhouette Cameo for Kiss title and my favourite Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folder for the top of the layout. The result:

Tegnap megnéztük a bledi karácsonyi falut.
Ilyen lett a végeredmény:

3, 2, 1 ...December!

Ezt a posztot magyarul a ScrapBolt blogon olvashatod.

December Daily (or something similar) is a hard story. You need endurance, diligence and preparation. I know what I am talking... as last year I failed. So this year I was very circumspect. First I chose the collection with the papers. My Mind's Eye was love at first sight.

After that I decided the size of the album. My first idea was insta album but then I changed my mind and after long research I finally made the decision: 6"x8". Then I completed my existing stocks with stickers, enamel shapes and sequins.

Then I rummaged in my home stock and pull together everything what can fit to my DD. Everything red, gold and black&white. I put them in small trays.

I used my Sizzix and different punches to prepare some filler cards and die cuts.

I also collected together the winter and christmas stencils, stamp sets, paints and embossing powders.

After all I reorganized my scrap corner and conjure festive atmosphere. I am in love with the result. I believe this will inspire me during december to fulfill the December Daily challenge.

Box mini album step-by-step tutorial

I got so many positive feedback on my Hello Fall mini album. I am glad you like it so much. :)
Because of the big interest I made this step-by-step tutorial for the box mini album. The original idea of the album is from Anna Komenda. It is not so easy and not even fast but I believe it is worth the time and energy. (Before you start please read all the steps carefully.) Are you ready? Let's start! ;-)
