Birdcage layout - Hip Kit Club

Hi Girls! I have a new layout using the March 2017 Hip Kits. I started my project with the gorgeous March Exclusive Cut File designed by Kim Watson (subscribers can download it for free from the .

I love to make this layout because I mixed so many different products from many collections. This is always an exciting experience.

I completed the birdcage with Pink Paislee Paige Taylor Evans Oh My Heart floral die cuts and Pinkfresh Studio Dream On Leatherette Stickers from the March Main Kit. From March Embellishment Kit I used some of the cute Pink Fresh Studio - Dream On - Rubber Chips and the pretty Dear Lizzy Lovely Day Washi Tape and the adorable Flags.

Missy gave me the idea to fussy cut the flowers from the Dear Lizzy - Lovely Day - Coloring Washi Tape. The result is awesome! It looks like stamped image.

I was so happy to receive Dear Lizzy - Lovely Day - Ephemera with Project Life Kit as those parrots are just too cute. I finished off my page scattering HKC Exclusive - Enamel Dots, which are the most beautiful enamels I have ever had.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a nice weekend!

Cross stitching and scrapbooking - Paige Evans

Hi girls! I haven’t made cross stitching in a long time so I thought it’s high time to spend few hours with colorful threads and relax. I created this layout about my mom using the Oh My Heart collection. The title is in Hungarian and it means "mom knows everything". I am super lucky to have such a strong relationship with her. She is my best friend and she really knows everything and solves everything and listens to everything and helps me anytime.

First I chose the font from one of my cross stitch pattern books and oversized the letters on a squared paper. I placed the pattern on Take Me Away Paper 14 which is almost white but has a light background pattern with crosses - perfect for cross stitching! Then I poked the holes. I matched the color of the threads with Oh My Heart Paper 21. This is such an awesome paper but can be hard to use as is so I cut out a circle from the middle. The paper harmonizes with the message of my page and I love this so much.

Once the cross stitching was finished I adhered my photo over the title and embellished the layout with Oh My Heart Chipboard Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, Puffy Stickers, and elements from the Sticker Book

I even completed some of the cross stitch pattern from Take Me Away Paper 14 and added it as a DIY floral embellishment.

I am so satisfied with the happy result! This page means a lot to me. I am happy to spend so much time with the cross stitching, maybe it’s a way to show my love to my mom. She used to stitch and embroider so I know she will appreciate it.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope I could inspire you to add some stitching to your next projects!

Altenew Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello Ladies! Welcome to the Altenew March Release Blog Hop II. + Giveaway event! Special hello if you came from Vicky Papaioannou's blog. ;-)
Altenew released many beautiful and fun stamp sets and coordinating dies. To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to THREE lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew blog by Thursday, March 30th at 11:59pm EST for a chance to win. The winners will be announced on the Altenew blog on Friday, March 31th.

I created a layout using my favourite stamp set from the Release. Altenew Hug Me Stamp Set is super cute. What is more you can purchase instantly with the Hug Me Die Set so nothing can stop you to have tons of fun while creating your own fox die cuts.
The base of my layout is a cut file design by Paige Evans. You can download it for free here.

First time in my life I have tried watercoloring stamped images. I know the result are not perfect, but I really enjoyed to paint the foxes from Altenew Hug Me Stamp Set.

For embellishing I used Altenew Reflection epoxy buttons and different arrows from the Reflection Sticker and Chipboard Sheet. I like to add extra Altenew Glue Tape on the back of the stickers to make sure they won't fall down from the project later. I used some of the cute sentiment stamps from Altenew Half Tone Circle Stamp Set. The date was stamped with Altenew Reflection Roller Stamp. To finish off my project I added cross stitches here & there.

I really hope you like my projects and I could inspire you to fall in love with the new Altenew products. I would like to give away one $30 gift certificate to the Altenew Shop. Just live a comment under this blog post by Thursday, March 30th at 11:59pm EST for a chance to win. Good luck! (I will announce the winner in this blog post.)

Huge embellishment cluster - Hip Kit Club

Hi there! Last week I was up on the Hip Kit Club blog, the theme was how to use washi in a creative way. To be honest, I was without any ideas, so I decided just to jump into the project and start. The layout was made with lots of products from Crate Paper Oasis, Chasing Dreams and Pink Paislee Oh My Heart collections.

First I choose the papers and the gathered all the coordinating elements such as pink, black&white, yellow embellishment. I really enjoy to create the huge cluster “column”. The February 2017 Hip Kit includes so many gorgeous stickers, die cuts and much more.

When the cluster was ready I grabbed the Pink Paislee – Paige Evans Oh My Heart stickers book from the February 2017 Project Life Kit. In this book you can find a sheet of fun washi stripes. I adhered them on a piece of baker’s twine to create a cute bunting. The bunting gave me the idea to place my title in this way.

I really love the pretty and happy result! I suggest you sometimes go crazy with materials. You don’t need to save them because the next Hip Kit will come so soon!
