One Ring Mini Album Made from One Pack of Ephemera

2017/01/17

Hi Everyone! I love mini albums as they are super cute, pretty and they can keep tons of photos of an important event or an awesome trip. Let's be honest it takes way to much time to create something serious. You know what I mean! Selecting and editing tons of photos, printing, planing and creating. It takes long hours, days or even weeks to finish one.

If you are like me and don't have time or patience, I have great news! You don't need to give up with mini albums just reduced the size, the volume of the work and simplify! The easiest way to make a mini photo album with scrapbooking technique is to use a metal ring!

Yes, that easy!

Supplies for One Ring Mini Album

To make a one ring mini album is not just easy, fast but also non-expensive! I have used only one single box of ephemera along with a few tiny embellishments and stickers. Of course, you can always use more! Don't freak out, you don't need anything special! I am sure you will find these few basic supplies in your drawer. However, if you want to get serious with scrapbooking or paper crafting, it's definitely worth to invest in great quality tools:

Print, Plan and Make the Base

The base of my album is the Pink Paislee Oh My Heart Ephemera Die Cuts. This contains many big elements, like frames and tags which are great for mini album pages. You can find also lots of gorgeous flowers die cuts in the pack. I used them in many places for decoration, they are truly eye-catching. After I printed out 2x2 inch photos with Canon Selphy photo printer I matched them with “pages”.

Create Interactive Pages

If you want to make a stunning album you have to focus on each page, make something unique on every. The best to reach the wow factor if you use interactive elements such as this shaker pocket. I used We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool to close the filled up transparent pocket (I have used a piece of Project Life Page Protector). How cool are the pretty sequins! I fixed it on the top with a pink eyelet so it won't break.

Decorate, Decorate, Decorate

Add small details on every page, use flowers, hearts and other cute elements. Use alpha stickers to create your own title or add subtitles. Write journaling on the empty die cuts and don't forget to stamp the date. Try to keep it simple but still decorate else the whole album will look empty and unfinished.

Now you know, how to make this fast and cute album. Please, don't just save it and add to your to-do list! Grab the materials and make it today!
I can't wait to see what you make! Don't forget to share on Instagram and tag me (@floramfarkas).
