Unique christmas card with stamping

Hi, ladies! Today I am up on the Altenew blog, particiapting  on the Holiday Photo Card Blog Hop. If you want to join the Blog Hop please visit the original post.

I’m sharing an elegant Christmas card that incorporates a personal photo. To create this card I used the Altenew Festive Silhouettes Stamp Set and the Poinsettia & Pine Stamp Set.

First of all, I cut out this beautiful, elegant envelope out of craft cardstock using a cut file. Then I created the poinsettia and branch die cuts with Altenew Poinsettia & Pine Stamp & Die, using gold heat embossing technique. I stamped the image on colorful cardstock as I am not so good at watercoloring.

Next step was to make the insert with the sentiment and personal photo. The holiday wishes were made with Altenew Festive Silhouettes Stamp Set. I chose again the gold heat embossing technique as this is the best way to make something festive and elegant. In the end, I added tiny colorful stars which are coordinate with the Christmas tree decoration in the background of the photo.

I also created a process video, so you can see better how I made this easy but unique Christmas card. You can watch my video here or in HD at Youtube.

I hope you like my project! Don't forget to join the Holiday Photo Card Blog Hop on the Altenew blog.

Felvidéki Scrapnap Workshop

Sziasztok!

Ezt az oldalt készítettük el a délelőtti workshopon. Bár egyszerűnek tűnik, időigényes volt liftelni minden apró részletet.

Felhasznált alapanyagok / Supplies:

Bold Blossom background and mirror stickers

Hi Ladies! Today I will show you a 8.5×11″ scrapbook layout. I documented a fun photo what was taken by my fiance. The mirror makes the photo tricky, I love the result. This inspired me to create a room scene, kind of complete the photo.

To create the wallpaper for the “room” I used the beautiful Altenew Bold Blossom Stamp Set with new pink and teal inks. For the flowers I used Cotton Candy, Purple Wine and Cosmic Berry Dye Inks. The leaves were created with Mountain Mist and Volcano Lake Dye Inks.  I didn’t use the outline of the flowers and leaves as it would make the images hars.

After I stamped the Bold Blossom flowers and leaves on a white cardstock, I decided to cut into strips. I adhered every other strips with foam tape, this gave fun effect to my background. I placed my photo on the “wallpaper” and added mirror stickers.

To embellish my page I added embroidery hoop die cuts, more mirror stickers and tiny enamel dots. I wanted to keep the layout very simple.

I hope you like my new project and I could inspire you to try the strip background effect.

Fall wreath with Hip Kits

Hi Girls! I am back with a new 12×12 scrapbook layout made with the gorgeous October 2016 Hip Kits. I used a 4×6″ photo of my niece to document. She is climbing up the tree in the photo so I wanted to create a fall nature scene.

For the background I used  Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes Gather – My Story Paper from the October Main Kit. As the main element of my page I used the pretty wreath cut file designed by Kim Watson. (If you are a subscriber you can download the cut file from the Hip Kit Club site.)

After I cut out the wreath from Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes Gather – Details Paper I placed my photo and started to embellish the wreath. I added flowers and different leaves from WRM – Honey I’m Home – Accent Stickers from October Project Life Kit. I adhered them with foam tape to add dimension.

My title comes from the October Main Kit. I mixed the Pink Paislee – Take Me Away – Gold Phrase Thicker with Exclusive Hip Kit Club Coral Puffy Alphabet Stickers.

I also embellished the wreath with Simple Stories – Posh – Chipboard Accents and Simple Stories – Posh – Alphabet Stickers. I love the tiny golden enamel dots, they give shine to the layout.

I hope I could inspire you to use the October Exclusive Cut File.
