Bella BLVD & The Cut Shop Blog Hop

2017/03/10

Hi and welcome on the Bella BLVD & The Cut Shop Blog Hop! I had a whole lot of fun to create a project with the cute Bella BLVD Secrets of the Sea collection. In the beggining I was afraid of the boy theme, but super cute figures charmed me.

I wanted to feature lots of patterned paper so I chose the Full Circle cut file set from The Cut Shoppe, which gave me the opportunity to highlight the funny papers of the Secrets of the Sea collection.

I used the Dancing Jellies paper as the base and decorated on the top and button with High Tide washi tape.

The circle was backed with 12" and 6x8" papers. I especially loved the Daily Details paper as I cut cut out the cute turtle couple and other sea animals to use them instead of die cut. To add extra texture I cross stitched here & there and scattered enamel dots around the page.

For my title I used Bella BLVD Ciao Chipboard. I love how the white word pop out from the busy background.

I hope you like my boyish scrapbook layout. Now it's time to hop and visit Gail Lindner.

And something fun! Bella BLVD is giving away a huge pack of puffy stickers. Stop on their blog for a chance to win!
The Cut Shoppe is also running a great 30% off sale. Use the code BLOGHOP30 between 10th-13th March to purchase your favourite cut files!

Thanks for joining us today! Happy you visited my blog! Have a wonderful crafty weekend!

  11. Such a cute layout Flora! I too struggle with boy layouts/embellishments. Love how you left the centre in the "o" in the word love. It makes it a more solid embellishment without the background paper showing through <3

The circle gives the impression of movement
in the water. Love the crab sitting on the
turtle. So many wonderful things to see.
