Altenew August 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi Ladies! Welcome to the Altenew August 2017 Release Blog Hop. In case you are keeping the blog hop order you should have arrived from the darling Isha Gupta's blog. I created a 12x12 scrapbook layout for this hope using Altenew Reflection Collection and the new Altenew Rose Filament Die Set along Altenew Speech Bubbles Stamp Set and Altenew Circled Sentiments Stamp Set.


I want to showcase how can you create a die cut background without Silhouette Cameo. If you have Sizzix or other Die Cutting Machines and a pretty detailed die as Altenew Rose Filament Die Set it's super easy. I cut many roses from Reflection Paper and gathered them under my photo. I love the watercolor effect of the die cuts.


Then I embellished the layout with die cut pieces created with Altenew Speech Bubbles and Circled Sentiments Stamp Sets. I also added Reflection Buttons and Wood Veneers and few rose Enamel Dots. In the end I added paper stripes with machine stitching on the sides.
