The Journal Studio collection was basically made for traveller's notebooks but I love the beautiful
design and colours so much that used them for a scrapbook layout.
Journal Studio contains patterned papers, but they used classic colours so you can find
matching shades in your Crate Paper stash. I picked a wood grain pattern from Maggie Holmes
Flourish collection. The name is Always. I cut out a background pattern (designed by Paige Evans) with Silhouette Cameo die cut machine from Maggie Holmes Flourish Hummingbird Paper which has pretty salmon colour.
I placed the cut out on the background paper and added my photo with foam tape. Around I placed
gorgeous flower die cuts what I completed with epoxy and puffy flowers. On the left, I added a
journaling spot form Ephemera pack and wrote my journaling. On the bottom of the scrap, I adhered
tiny puffy stickers.
On the right, I placed the die cut title, a tab for the date and a pretty label with a sentiment. I added a
bug die cut with foam tape. It is so cute! I really enjoyed working with these warm, fall colours. I usually use lighter papers and colours but for the forest trip theme and season, this darker and warmer design fits better.
