February 2019 Challenge - Cute Critters

Hi Ladies! After two months of break, I am back with a new challenge. If you don't know, I was running my monthly challenge serious on Pink and Paper Shop blog in the past years but decided to make some changes. I will explain to you what and why. It caused me a lot of extra work to run the challenge on the other blog, so I decided to move it to my personal blog. I also figured out the application via Instagram wasn't the best solution, as it was hard to track and pick the winner. I know, lots of you don't have Instagram or blog and this is another reason.  From now on, the only way to enter the challenge will be in the Pink and Paper VIP Facebook Group. This will make my life easier and speed up the winner picking etc. You can still share your entries on social media and help me to spread the word. I hope you can adopt the changes and will keep playing along with me. Let's see the new challenge!

I know, for a lot of you it is a big challenge to use all those random animals, cute critters. What to do with a lama, giraffe, flamingo or a sloth? Simple! USE IT UP! In scrapbooking all the pretty papers, stickers and embellishments help us to recall and represent the mood, feeling of the specific photo and memory. These critters are super cute so don't be scared to use along with your photos and document a funny or heartwarming moment with them.  As Valentine's Day is closer and closer I pulled out the Pebble Loves Me collection and created this scrapbook page with it.

My base element was this lovely Love Letter cut file by Inna Moreva. I backed the cut out with different Pebbles and Crate Paper patterned papers (supplies list below). I made sure to add dimensions because I just cand stand when my layouts are flat, so I added foam tapes under the peeking leaves.
I created three clusters by adding sloth Ephemera Pieces, Icon, and Heart Puffy Stickers. I also used up some of my Bramble Fox acrylic embellishments. This company is from the UK and they make fun and quality embellishments for crafters. Check out their amazing products HERE

The third cluster highlights my photo with more Pepples florals, Crate Paper La La Love stickers and Bramble Fox acrylic titles. In the end, I always love to add little details like enamel dots or like this time tiny Puffy Hearts, so I scattered them here and there.  That's it about the page!

Rules of the challenge participation: The task is to create a scrapbook page, card or mini album with cute critters. You can enter as many times as you wish in the Pink and Paper VIP Facebook Group. Share a photo of your finished layout under THIS thread by February 28th for a chance to win a €15.00 gift certificate to my Pink and Paper Shop. The winner will be picked randomly. Internationals are welcome!
You can also share your entry on Instagram and Facebook and spread the word. I am always very happy if you tag me (@floramfarkas and @pinkandpapershop) on social media and use #pinkandpapershop hashtag.

I can't wait to see your February entries! Flóra
