DIY Layered Valentine's Day Cards

2020/02/05

Hi Ladies! Today I want to share with you my latest Valentine's Day DIY cards. I make every year a couple and send them to my friends and loved ones. This year I mainly used the All Heart collection what is perfect as it includes so many pretty pink papers and embellishments. However, I added other matching embellishments from past Crate Paper collections as well.

Valentine's Day Cards Supplies:

  • Pink Patterned Papers
  • Stickers
  • Gem Stickers
If you want to use the same material as me, find the used products at the end of this post.

For the first card, I used a star pattern paper called Cute Stuff. I layered on Ephemera pieces and scraps trimmed from Collage Paper. I love creating lots of layers! I have added pieces from the 12x12 Element Specialty Paper. I completed the Element card with Hooray Thicker bracket. I love the shiny matching holographic design. The cutest shaker heart is from La La Love collection. To make it even cuter I added fussy cut flowers that I cut out from Wild Paper.

I decorated both cards with La La Love Phrases Sticker as they have special Valentine’s Day messages. I also scattered Sunny Days pink and silver Rhinestones. They make my card even more lovely. You may wonder where I got the adorable pandas. Well, I fussy cut them from Willow Lane Friendship Paper. They are super cute and make a great focal point on my cards.

It was so much fun to play with a non-Valentin themed collection and pick up all the pink and heart day related pieces to pull together this card set. I am always surprised by how the different Crate Paper collections can be mixed and matched. This is one of the main reason why I am an ultimate fun of all Crate Paper.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I inspired you to grab your Crate Paper stash to make a few DIY Valentine's Day cards. Flóra
