Flowers and butterflies - Crate Paper

2017/06/28

Hi there! I have a new layout created with gorgeous Crate Paper products. For this project I used the prettiest Maggie Holmes – Chasing Dreams collection. I can’t get enough of this pretty line. I rarely use 4x6 photos for my layouts, but this time I find better to go bigger.

For my background I used the shabby Moment paper, it fits perfectly with the ruined wall of the church. To create a unique background I fussy cut some gorgeous flowers from the Garden Club paper. I arranged all the prettiness behind my photo. I wanted to add 3D elements so I cut colorful butterflies from Monarch paper. I adhered them with foam tape so they could mimic them in flight.

In the top left, I placed a beautiful mint Fringe Butterfly. Under it adhered a Thickers frame for journaling. To add more interest to my page I tore the background paper in two places. I folded down the corners and backed it with Adventure Paper which has a cute blue polka dot pattern.

On the bottom right corner of the photo I created a cluster with a Chipboard frame and Thickers. I wanted to have the title ’Celebrate Today’, so I completed the chipboard sentiment with Cloud Puffy Alpha Stickers. Here, I also addeded a cute Puffy Camera Sticker.

I love the elegant and vintage elements of the Chasing Dreams collection. It’s perfect for documenting such special moments like a baptism.
