March 2019 Challenge - Flowers + Geometric Shapes

Hi Ladies! What a short month! I can't believe it's almost March. This means it's high time for a new monthly challenge. What else could I use for a spring layout than flowers? But I thought to add a twist and create a contrast by using geometric shapes like triangle, circle, square etc. You can use cut file, hand stitches, stencil, stamps or any other technique to add the shapes and flowers.

For my layout, I used the beautiful Carte Bella - Flower Market collection what is my fav at the moment. I have picked a simple paper for my background called Garden Floral. I have sketched triangle shapes all over the page. I poke holes for sawing using the Tim Holtz Craft Pick. This is my favorite tool when it comes to hand stitching. I used four different colors to create the triangles. They all match the flowers from Flower Market Floral paper. 

When the hand stitching was done, I added my 3x4 photo. I layered under with tags using Ephemera pieces. I fussy cut lots of beautiful floral elements from Flower Market Floral paper and arranged them on my layout. I found a cute truck on the Chipboard Sticker sheet what I added on the right. I finished off my page using black Enamel Dots and that cool red-pink Crate Paper Main Squeeze Alpha Thickers.
