Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi Ladies! Welcome to the Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop. In case you are keeping the blog hop order you should have arrived from my darling friend May Sukyong Park's blog. I am in love with the new products, so many stunning stamps and inks. I created my layout using Altenew Baby Balloon Stamp and Die, Altenew Floral Fantasy Stamp and Die, Altenew Blooming Bouquet Stamp and Altenew Recollections Stamp Set.



These are the new stamps and maching dies I was using for my 12x12 scrapbook layout:Altenew Baby Balloon Stamp and Die, Altenew Floral Fantasy Stamp and Die, Altenew Blooming Bouquet Stamp.
I created three balloon with Altenew Baby Balloon Stamp using the new Pinkalicious Crisp Ink from and Altenew Cherry Blossom Oval Set and Citrus Brust Crisp Ink from Altenew Pocketful of Sunshine Oval Set. For the outlines I used Altenew Industrial Diamond Crisp Ink instead of black one, not to have so sharp lines.



Behind my photo I created few floral layers. First I stamped on a white cardstock the big bouquet from Altenew Blooming Bouquet Stamp and cut it out. (I used again the Altenew Industrial Diamond Crisp Ink.) Then, I stamped bigger and smaller flowers from Altenew Floral Fantasy Stamp using the new Altenew Cherry Blossom Oval Set and Altenew Pocketful of Sunshine Oval Set . The leaves were created with ligth blue Turquoise Crisp Ink from Altenew Deep Blue Seas Oval Set. Once my pretty flowers were done, I cut them out with Altenew Floral Fantasy Die Set. 


The title was created from glitter foam using the Altenew Script Words Die. The lines are so thin, the cut out is stunning. Insted of journaling I stamped meaningful quotes from Altenew Recollections Stamp Set. For embellishing I only added Altenew Enamel Dots and Altenew Reflection Buttons.

    I love all three sets you used to create this layout! I love how the Floral Fantasy stamps are completely colored, the Baby Balloon stamps are partially colored with the new pink and yellow inks but also feature white in them and then the Blooming Bouquet set is just used for the black and white outline. This combination looks absolutely fabulous!

    I love that the new Altenew color stamp set is yellow. People don't use enough yellow in their cards and it's my favorite color. You used a lot of it in your scrapbook layout and I love it!     At one time I had always thought scrapbooking and card making were 2 separate hobbies but I have changed my mind. Your layout is absolutely stunning and shows how stamping can cross over into our scrapbooking pages.

    Your layout is fantastic, all of the flowers that you used are gorgeous and I really like how you left some as just outlines, it really makes the coloured flowers pop!!! I think your colour palette for this layout is just perfect.

    Seeing the hot air balloons made me smile recalling going to balloonfest with boyfriend last year. Dream is to see one in Albuquerque. So versatile to use.
