Embroidered wreath - The Cut Shoppe

Sziasztok! Ma egy virágos tavaszi oldalt mutatok Nektek, ami Forgó Beának készült, ugyanis Ő volt az egyik nyertese a Facebook oldalamon indított játéknak. :) Az oldalhoz az új The Cut Shoppe Spring Fling vágófájlt használtam, abból is a szépséges virágos koszorút. Csak félkörívben vágtam ki perforálva, így alkalmas lett a hímzésre. Ezt a trükköt Caroline blogján láttam és az ő csodálatos munkái inspiráltak arra, hogy végre kipróbáljam ezt a fajta varrást.  Azért, hogy a motívum jobban kiadja magát itt-ott ki kellett egészítenem a mintát extra lyukakkal. Jó néhány órába beletelt mire kihímeztem, de nagyon bájos lett a végeredmény. 

Hi! Today I am showing you a spring layout. I love so much the new Spring Fling cut file set from The Cut Shoppe specially the beautiful floral wreath. I gave it a go to try how to turn a cut file into a stitched design. I have seen this technique first on Caroline Free's blog. Her beautiful layouts inspired me to try this technique. The trick is to set up the cut style to perforate edge. Thus you will be able to embroider the design easily... and with a lot of time. Namely this kind of work takes some hours to complete. So prepare yourself. :D I had to complete the design with few extra holes so the silhouettes of the flowers and leaves are more visible. 

A fénykép nagyon magával ragadott, ezért azt szerettem volna fókuszban hagyni, illetve a virágkoszorút. Háttér papírnak egy visszafogott rózsaszín csíkos papírt választottam Elle's Studio Cienna kollekciójából és hozzátartozó apró kivágatokat díszítésnek. Ezekre pecsételtem a dátumot és a írtam a kommentet. A vellum feliratokat varrással rögzítettem az oldalra, néhány elemen pedig végigszaladtam a géppel, hogy extra textúrát kapjon. A végén fekete akril pacákkal tettem kicsit mozgalmassá az oldalt.

My photo was very immersive (actually this is a giveaway page what a nice Lady won on my Facebook page) so I wanted to keep in the focus. For the background I have chosen a pastel rose patterned paper from Elle's Studio Cienna collection and tiny die cuts for embellishing from the same collection as well. I added the date and the short journaling on the pieces. The page was finished with some stitching and black acrylic paint splatter.
